This introduction to engineering, hardware and robotics is packed with hands-on activities to keep kids excited about learning! In a nutshell, join straws to create 3D shapes, structures like bridges and towers; learn the engineering concepts that make everyday mechanisms function; then power up your robots with the Quirkbot!
First, join colourful reusable straws to learn about engineering and create basic 3D shapes, like a tetrahedron, cube, and more, using your creativity and resourcefulness to construct your own marvelous structures and mechanisms.
Then add in a Quirkbot into the mix – that’s a mini computer that’s small in size but HUGE in versatility! You’ll then apply your coding superpowers to program your robots using a block-based interface. And as you’ll see, the possibilities of what you can create are endless!
