Partner with us – Schools

Kids are the future - let's work together to make a difference for them! Explore the possibilities for collaboration: customised classes, teacher training programs, licensing our curriculum, and more!

Why Saturday Kids?

Our Philosophy

  • We believe in coding to learn, not learning to code. Our classes are designed to encourage self-exploration and cultivate creative confidence. We strive to create active creators with code, rather than passive users of technology. When you partner with us, you also align with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education.

Our Experience

  • Founded in 2012 as Singapore’s first coding school for kids, our pedagogy and curriculum undergo constant iteration. So far, we’ve reached over 7,000 students through our holiday camps and not-for-profit classes for kids from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Our People

  • Our team comprises educators, parents, creatives, change-makers, and more, who strive to create a learning experience that is centered on play & fun – allowing kids to develop an intrinsic desire to learn. We aren’t afraid of allowing our inner child to shine so we can view and experience the world alongside our students.

How can we collaborate?

1. Organise Saturday Kids Classes

  • Weekly Classes
Don’t have coding or robotics classes at your school? Arrange for an awesome Saturday Kids instructor to come to your school to teach coding or robotics lessons that your students will love.
Online lessons are now available in addition to our in-person classes.
Recommended for: Schools keen to start a coding or robotics program.
  • Afterschool Classes
Host coding or robotics classes as an afterschool, weekend, or extra-curricular activity at your school.
Online lessons are now available in addition to our in-person classes.
Recommended for: Schools and organizations that currently don’t have the capacity to incorporate coding in their curriculum, but want to offer it as an afterschool option for their students.
  • Holiday Camps & Workshops
Make the holidays and your events extra special with a touch of code: Host a seasonal holiday coding camp and one-off workshops at your school or organization. We also love helping kids learn through fun-filled interactive sessions at corporate family fairs, special school events, and more!
Online lessons are now available in addition to our in-person classes.
Recommended for: Schools and organizations who want to make the holidays and special occasions even more awesome by incorporating fun-packed coding and robotics camps and activities for kids!

2. Train-the-Trainer Programs

Upskilling your team is a win-win for both teachers and kids. In our Train-the-Trainer program, we design curriculum and train your staff to conduct coding classes with confidence, using the Saturday Kids pedagogy. For organisations looking to make an impact and give back to the community, training options are also available to empower teams to volunteer in meaningful Saturday Kids community programs.

Recommended for: Organisations and schools that want to upskill their staff to teach coding and robotics.

3. License Saturday Kids’ Coding Curriculum

Our coding and robotics curriculum spans tried and tested educational offerings for kids from ages 5 to 14 years old. Our licensing package includes detailed lesson plans, training, and support for resourcing equipment and classroom materials.

Recommended for: Schools and educational organisations in need of curriculum to take their students into the future.

Saturday Kids is an active supporter of Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education.

Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) was created to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Saturday Kids is currently working with Google and IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority, a statutory board under the Singapore government) on a social impact program called Code in the Community, a digital literacy program in which underprivileged and at-risk kids age 8-15 in Singapore receive free coding classes. We hope to be able to offer a similar program here in Japan in the near future that will allow all Japanese kids regardless of background access to a quality education.

Our Partners

“The competency of Saturday Kids’ contents is very clear compared to other services, and therefore we are confident recommending your content to our customers and feel that it will be very attractive to our students.”
